As the daughter of a Mexican mother and an Irish-American father, I’ve always worked to understand the tensions between discrete identities and the ambiguities that border them. The Texas-Mexico border is particularly important to me; it’s where I was conceived, where I was raised during the summers by my Mexican grandmother, and where I lived for brief periods during my childhood and adolescence.

This site is a collection of my creative endeavors. The writings, drawings, and paintings all spring from the same well. They are a celebration of my heritage and projections of who I am.
